What Are Limited Access Issues In Tp Link Router?

Firstly, disconnect your system from the internet then re-connect after some time. Still facing the same problem in wireless connection? Then try a wired connection for connecting to internet devices. Make sure router and client are compatible with each other. To tackle limited access issues in TP-Link, reset Windows Wi-Fi drivers as this can also fix connectivity glitches.

Why limited access issues arise in TP-Link router and how to fix them :-

  • DHCP problem:- If you are connecting multiple devices to the router then you may suffer from IP address conflict issues. When the connected devices are not compatible then there exist DHCP glitches. Disable DHCP by logging into configuration page of the router. Firstly, open your web browser and type 192.168.0.1 in the URL box. A menu will open and you have to search for DHCP option. Now open DHCP and disable it by clicking on “disable” button. After this step, restart your router to apply the changes.
  • ISP routing snags:- When “no connection” message displays on the screen then users should understand there is some problem with ISP. To fix ISP issues, restart your TP Link router and try to connect with the internet. Still facing the same problem then contact ISP provider.
  • Weak Signal Strength:- When the cables are not inserted properly or loose then there may be a problem in receiving adequate signals. Connect all cables properly and place your router at that position which is free from network interference.
  • Wrong Configuration Settings:- Normally, we use a router to extend network coverage area so keep in mind that you have to use same password & channel for your access point. But if you different password then definitely there will be limited connectivity snags. To avoid any nuisance, please check WDS Bridge/repeater settings. If you are using different SSID then it will not create any hassle.
  • Google Public DNS:- To fix DNS hitches, reset the router to factory settings and change the DNS server address on TP-Link router configuration.To change DNS settings, open Ethernet/ Wi-Fi and navigate to Properties. Now click on Networking option and select TCP/IPV4. Go to Properties and use the DNS address.

Ipv4 – 8.8.8.8, 8.8.4.4

Ipv6 – 2001:4860:4860 :- 8888, 2001:4860:4860::8844

If you are changing your DNS server then open DHCP settings and select “Obtain DNS Server Address Automatically”.
